வருவிருந்து வைகலும் ஓம்புவான் வாழ்க்கை - தன்னை நோக்கி வந்த விருந்தை நாள்தோறும் புறந்தருவானது இல்வாழ்க்கை; பருவந்து பாழ்படுதல் இன்று - நல்குரவான் வருந்திக்கெடுதல் இல்லை. (நாள்தோறும் விருந்தோம்புவானுக்கு அதனான் பொருள் தொலையாது; மேன்மேல் கிளைக்கும் என்பதாம்.).

Translation:

Each day he tends the coming guest with kindly care; 

Painless, unfailing plenty shall his household share.

Explanation:

The domestic life of the man that daily entertains the guests who come to him shall not be laid waste by poverty.
